Stripey Woolen Elephant

The animals are hand knitted on the farm Kenana by rural women of the Njoro region in Kenya. The wool is sourced locally and is spun and died using home grown plants on the Kenana farm. The combination of a natural material and handwork gives each animal its individual character.
