Our shipment of new designs of the popular Wonki Ware ceramics and new sizes of Luna picutre frames is expected to arrive towards the end of November.
Our new opening hours are Tuesday to Friday 11am-6pm and Saturday 11am-4pm. Or by appointment.

If you've got something you want to show us, snap a picture!" was the prompt to the people from the townships of Cape Town, some of which were taking pictures for the first time in their lives. With this request, and accompanied by a large number of used cameras in their luggage, Marcus Vogel, Alexandra Vogel und Andreas David travelled to Cape Town in July 2009. Back in Berlin, these expressive slides have become remarkable Polaroid art. www.bi-rd.de

Invitation to the Vernissage of MPENJA

During the International Art Forum in Berlin we are proud to present MPENJA - the artist couple Frances Schandera & Everett Duarte from South Africa and Germany.
Their fascination for southern Africa is reflected in their mutually created paintings. Their work shows a richness of ideas, felicitous orchestration and technical finesse. They are a fusion of african motives, colours and shapes on canvas.
Both artists will be present at the vernissage at IMA design village.
From 28. September to 28. November 2009 the paintings will be on display at Cape Times in Prenzlauer Berg.
